Anyone can take a weld torch and put a nice wavy line through the previous owners name on a keg skirt.  This process not only quickly turns a nice looking keg into an ugly one,  but also simply does not solve the problem of removing the original brewer’s name.   As a result,  your customer quickly sees your center band label right along with the name of the company that used to own your keg!  Anyone can easily see the embossed name behind the wavy line!   This is simply a bad idea from beginning to end.

Sabco has invested in the correct machinery to properly remove the old embossings to a point where they simply disappear into a cross-hatch pattern of stainless.  This machinery uses heavy hydraulics to press away the old name and re-install a pattern that blends in to the keg’s natural contours.  The pattern becomes part of the skirt’s general appearance rather than becoming a distraction that can take the focus away from your logo and your important band labeling.

This is not rocket science!   However,  it is a permanent change that you’re making to your expensive kegs.  You have only one opportunity to do it correctly.   Consider doing it right the first time!

Also, please consider Sabco for your keg re-identification concerns.  We’ve been saving kegs since 1961.

That’s 50 years of experience!
